    This is a cheese mould used for making 2 lb Kingston cheeses. This example is a cylindrical mould made of tinned metal. It has a strong rim at the top and the base. There is a hole in the base and a seperate base plate with five holes. There are small drainage holes in the sides and a follower without holes. This item was donated as part of a collection of dairy related objects from the University of Reading Department of Food Science.
