    Measuring chain consisting of 1 foot links, a total of 100 feet. Used by C. W. Symmons between c.1900-1925 in the Maidenhead area.
    This is a measuring chain consisting of 100 iron links of 1 foot, making it 100 feet in total. It has brass handles at either end brass markers at ten feet intervals, with a brass swivel at 50 feet. The first brass marker at one end is missing. It was used by donor's father, C. W. Symmons between c.1900-1925 in the Maidenhead area.
