  • Description
    A cane clearer is a tool used by chair caners to clear the holes of a caned chair seat before re-caning. This clearer was made by Dryad and Co. in 1967 and consists of a steel rod sawn off at right angles inserted into a wooden handle. It is used with a mallet.
