    A farrier's stud key used for removing frost nails from horseshoes. Made by Mason Watts, a blacksmith at Tooley & Young Ltd., Stalham, Norfolk.
    This is a farrier's stud key, used for removing frost nails from horseshoes. The pointed end is used for initial cleaning of the hole in the horseshoe. Frost nails give horses extra grip in icy weather. The stud key is made from an old file. It was made by Mason Watts, a blacksmith at Tooley and Young Ltd. in Stalham, Norfolk.
