    2 honey pots [both same]: red earthenware; good conditionAlthough both pots are the same in design, they differ minimally through the crudity of their making. Therefore, the angles of slant on the sides are fractionally different, but certainly not enough to warrant calling them different pots.

    MERL ‘Handwritten catalogue’ form - ‘Honey Pots // Domestic Serving Food // C.A Jewell MERL // 9X9.5cm (height x diameter at rim), 2 honey pots, both same. Red earthenware, unglazed outside, clear glaze inside, flanged rim, cylindrical, with narrow base. Widening sharply then straightening to rim.’
