A glue pot or glue kettle, consisting of an inner pot for holding the glue and an outer pot for holding water, both with wire handles.
A copper glue pot, sometimes referred to as a glue kettle, consisting of an inner pot for holding the glue and an outer pot for holding water, both with wire handles. The glue pot would have been heated on a stove or gas ring, and the water in the outer pot prevented the glue overheating. With the glue pot is a brush which has lost most of its bristle, and a small canvas bag containing dried glue.
