Description
Half-pint beer mug. The handle features an incised shell-like pattern. Found at a blacksmith's forge Great Shelford.
This is a small half-pint beer mug, which was originally cream in colour - the original glaze appears to have worn away. The handle features an incised shell-like pattern where it is joined to the mug. A piece is missing from its side, and it contains the hardened remains of an unidentified substance. It was found with a large collection of bottles of horse potions which were uncovered during the demolition of a blacksmith's forge in Great Shelford.
