    A dock lifter, used for removing deep-seated weeds. It consists of an iron forked point with two prongs, a jutting prong for pushing the tool into the ground with the foot, and a curled semi-circular loop for leverage; it is missing its wooden handle. This tool was found at the offices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in Chichester, West Sussex.
