One of twelve moulding planes, used for creating profiles in wood, from the workshop of Froude [?] in Checkendon, Oxfordshire. It has a beech stock and is marked 'W. Sarjent // West St. // Reading' (a Reading tool merchant and manufacturer), 'W. Taylor' (possibly the name of a previous owner of the plane - seven of the twelve planes are marked with this name) and 'Warranted'.
