  • Description
A compass plane, used for smoothing curved surfaces. It has a beech stock and is marked 'W. Taylor' in two places (possibly the name of a previous owner - several other planes from the same donor are also marked with this name). The plane probably came from the workshop of Froude [?] in Checkendon, Oxfordshire.
