Sycamore scoop used for removing butter from a churn, by scraping the sides. Used at Cobstone Mill Farm, Turville, untill the 1930s.
This scoop, carved from one piece of sycamore wood, was used for removing butter from a churn, particularly by scraping the sides. It was used by the donor at Cobstone Mill Farm, Turville. It was last used in the 1930s.
