Description
Wedding dress worn by Mrs. George Elderfield for her wedding at Bodicote, Oxfordshire, in 1910. Made by a local seamstress in the village.
This wedding dress was worn by the donor's mother, Mrs. George Elderfield (nee Emily Pratley), for her wedding at Bodicote, Oxfordshire, on 23rd June 1910. It was made by a local seamstress in the village, and is made of cream cashmere, trimmed with lace. The lace may have been made by the donor's great aunt.
