This is a moustache cup and saucer. It has scalloped edges, and coloured decoration in light blue, red and gold on a white background. It has a mark reading 'Made in Germany' and a symbol with the letter 'R' marked on the underside. It belonged to the donor's father or grandfather.

No ideas about this except that as it was wrapped up in tissue paper among my mother's treasures it may have belonged to either her father or her grandfather.
