    A vegetable press used for pressing water out of vegetables. Dates from c.1900 and came from either West Sussex.
    This is a vegetable press, a manual implement used for pressing water out of cabbages and other vegetables. It is thought to date from c.1900 and came from either Worthing or Southgate, West Sussex. The handle is made of ash, while the circular press is made of sycamore.
