Cuming, 24 May 1960 - 'We thank you for your letter dated the 22nd instant, and from our records it would appear that machine No. 26271 is one of our No. 1 I.R.N.S. dressing machines which was manufactured in August 1918. // We enclose leaflet showing this machine, but regret we have no idea of the original cost or the second-hand value, owing to its age. We have also discontinued manufactured of this particular model.'
