    These eight coffin plates of four designs are pressed from thin tinned plate. From a cabinet maker and undertaker in Burford who died in 1910.
    Coffin plates are decorative panels attached to coffins, often bearing an inscription. These eight plates of four designs (two of each) are pressed from thin tinned plate and have some black paint decoration. They came from the widow of a cabinet maker and undertaker in Burford who died in 1910.
