    Steel tongs tentatively identified as curling tongs which would be heated and used to curl hair. From W. W. Field, wheelwright, Winson, Glos.
    This pair of slim steel tongs have been tentatively identified as curling tongs which would be heated and used to curl hair. They came from the workshop of Mr W. W. Field, a wheelwright in Winson, Gloucestershire. Mr Field retired circa 1960 and the business closed.
