  • Description
    Spoke shaves are used in a variety of trades for cleaning up round work - such as by wheelwrights for shaving the spokes of wagon wheels. This shave has a boxwood stock and a steel blade. It belonged to Mr W. W. Field, a wheelwright in Winson, Gloucestershire. Mr Field retired circa 1960 and the business closed.
