    Sheep shears inscribed ‘Warranted Cast Steel’. Used by William Baker (c.1849–1916), a Berkshire shepherd who worked in Hampshire and Berkshire.
    These sheep shears are made from cast steel and are inscribed ‘Warranted Cast Steel’. They were used by William Baker (c.1849–1916), a Berkshire shepherd who worked for several yeoman families in Hampshire and Berkshire.

He worked for the following yeoman families:– Richard Kelsey of Eversley, Hants. The Groves of Ambarrow Farm, Berkshire.
