Hammer for breaking stone into the required size. From the workshop of Mr W. W. Field, a wheelwright in Winson, Gloucestershire.
This hammer, with an ash handle and rectangular steel head, is for breaking stone into the required size. The hammer came from the workshop of Mr W. W. Field, a wheelwright in Winson, Gloucestershire. Mr Field retired circa 1960 and the business closed.
