  • Archival history
MERL miscellaneous note, Greta Bertram, 22 October 2012 - From correspondence between the donor and the Museum in the accession file 57/212-57/216, it appears that Mr Johnston collected numerous objects for the Museum from the eastern counties of England, e.g. Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Essex, Kent. It is therefore likely that 59/161-59/165 also came from the East of England/South East/East Midlands.
