  • Description
    A brace is a 'D'-shaped woodworking hand tool used for boring holes. This brace has a wooden handle with brass trim and a brass end for the bit fixing. The bit is made of steel. The brass is engraved with the name of the maker, 'Turner'. it was used by G. G. Witt, a late-nineteenth century Reading carpenter.
