  • Description
    The brace is a woodworking tool used for boring holes. This brace is made of beech with a brass end for the bit fixing and a brass trim. The bit is a long spoon bit. The brace was made by Buck of Tottenham Court Road, London, and belonged to the donor's grandfather, Isaac Beasley, in the late-nineteenth century. It is in very good condition and the donor believed that it was perhaps a show piece.
