It was among her uncle's belongings, and he, in turn, may have got it from his uncle. // [sketch] // marked on the bottom "_ Dixon + Sons // 1103"., Letter, P. Sailman to Mr Higgs, 30 January 1957 - 'I send the little powder measure and hope it will be of interest to you. // I am afraid I know very little about it - it was among my Uncle's belongings and he may have got it from his Uncle. That generation used to go shooting + so I guess the age as being 18-something.'
