    Pin cushion made of silk with a pin decoration. Belonged to Mrs Kitchin, Bubnell, Derbyshire. Believed to be presents to parents of a baby.
    This is a rectangular pin cushion, made of cream silk with a decoration made up of pins. The pattern includes the inscription, '1826 // Welcome Little Stranger, TMD'. It at one time belonged to Mrs Kitchin of Bubnell, Derbyshire, although it may not have been hers originally as the initials do not match. The donor belives such pin cushions were given as presents to the parents of a new baby.
