    This mug was produced for the Army & Navy Co-operative Society to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. It is white pottery, with gold bands and a black design showing a portrait of the Queen, surrounded by the words 'In Commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the Reign of Queen Victoria // 1837 // 1897'. The base of the mug is stamped 'Army + Navy Co-operative Society Limited'. It was initially collected by a Miss A. H. Walker.
