This mug was manufactured to commemorate the coronation of King George VI in 1937. It is a cream pottery mug with a design in red, blue and gold showing a portrait of the King and Queen with the inscription 'Coronation // 1937 // King George VI // Queen Elizabeth'. It was initially collected by a Miss A. H. Walker.
