    DEACCESSIONED. Please note that this object no longer forms part of the Museum of English Rural Life collection and cannot be accessed at our institution. These specimens of slate roof tiles are made from Stonesfield Slate, from the quarry at Stonesfield, Oxfordshire. The specimens previously belonged to the Oxford Presevation Trust, and were housed at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.
