  • Description
    Hames acquired by Lavinia Smith from Horace Prior, a gardener from East Hendred, and were used on his grandfather's donkey 1890.
    These two pony hames form the wooden frame of the harness, and would be attached to a padded leather collar. Lavinia Smith acquired them from Horace Prior, a gardener from the East Hendred area, and were used on his grandfather's donkey circa 1890.
