Description
This is a charcoal iron. It is inscribed 'DALLI // PATENT // GERMAN MAKE'. It was used for ironing domestic laundry. Its lid opens to reveal a chamber. Fume from the charcoal escape through holes in the sides of this chamber. On the under-surface of the lid 'Dalli Protector' and the design of a left hand are inscribed. The iron also has a wooden handle.
