- Archival historyThese fire dogs are of a simple design. Each dog consists of a horizontal bar which bends to form a single leg at one end and fits into an upright at the other end. The upright has two arched legs, and forms a curvature at the top. The dogs were used in Berkshire at Pangbourne.
