    DEACCESSIONED. Please note that this object no longer forms part of the Museum of English Rural Life collection. Reaccessioned in MERL Archives as D69/124/3. This is a pen and ink drawing for an oil painting entitled 'Counting the Flock'. It was drawn by the artist John Pedder, and the oil painting was later shown at the Royal Academy in 1897. An inscription in pencil on the reverse reads: 'Royal Academy // John pedder, Eastfield, Furze Platt, Maidenhead.' Deaccessioned
