This pen and ink drawing is for an oil painting entitled 'A Berkshire Lane'. It was drawn by the artist John Pedder. The oil painting was later shown at the Royal Academy in 1899. An inscription in pencil on the reverse reads 'John Pedder, Eastfield, Furze Platt, Maidenhead.'
