    A chopper used for chopping potatoes. Found in an old house in Devon, where it was known locally as a 'tattie-chopper'.
    This chopper is a domestic kitchen utensil, used for chopping potatoes in a frying pan. It was found in an old house in Devon, where it was known locally as a 'tattie-chopper'. At the time of acquisition in 1956, such knives were still being made by a foundry local to the donor in Okehampton, Devon. It consists of a rectangular blade, with a handle set parallel, but at a different height, to the cutting blade.
