    An ornamental glass 'barley twist' walking stick. Possibly made in Nailsea by glass blowers at the end of a shift from left over glass.
    This is a ?barleytwist? stick, an ornamental glass walking stick. It is made of dark green ridged glass, and is believed to have been made in Nailsea. These sticks were made by glass blowers at the end of a shift from whatever glass was left over. Other versions were made hollow and filled with ?hundreds and thousands?.
