Village pump from Aynho in Northamptonshire. It was situated on the main Banbury–London road and in use until 1953 or 1954.
This village pump, from Aynho in Northamptonshire, is made of wood with an iron handle, spout and interior pipe. The lower part of the pump would have been below ground. The pipe was situated on the main Banbury–London road. It was in use until 1953 or 1954, when it was removed because the framework gave way and a new water supply was installed.
