Archival history
This notebook has 20 small pages and a green paper cover. It is entirely manuscript and, although undated, was probably compiled in the late eighteenth century. The contents of the notebook includes tables of measures for wine, ale and beer, statistics of various types wood, thatching and walling costs. The last 5 pages are devoted to information about farming in Somerset and there is a list of prices paid for farm implements in this section.
