    Deaccessioned. Please note that this object no longer forms part of the Museum of English Rural Life collection, and so cannot be accessed at our institution. This is a half pint measure for measuring corn. It is made of wood which has been steamed and bent into shape, with metal banding and vertical struts. It was used and deposited by Charles Midwinter & Son Ltd., corn merchants in Newbury, Berkshire.
