    This is a pair of size three child’s boots made of black leather, lined with dark red leather, and with steel heel caps and toe caps. They have been machine stitched. On the left boot, the price is scratched on them – they started at 3 shillings, then went down to 2 shillings 11 pence, then 1 shilling 9 pence and finally 1 shilling.
