This solid wooden stand is made of two long pieces of wood with two shorter pieces across, on four legs. There are grooves at the front of the stand to catch the base of the tub. There is a wooden hinge device at the back to support the tub and enable it to be tilted. This stand was used to carry a cheese tub, used for making cheddar cheese.
