Description
This is a pin fired, double barrelled shotgun, made by Lefaucheux in Paris, France. It bears Paris proof-house marks, the maker's serial number, '982', and was made in 1853. It has a decorative pattern of leaves and hunting scenes on the barrel and the lock.
