    A drainage scoop (missing handle) used for digging land drains. Nothing is known of its age, origins or place of use.
    This iron scoop, which once had a wooden handle attached, is a drainage scoop. Scoops were used for digging land drains. The ditch would first be dug with a spade and then the bottom cleaned and smoothed with the scoop. Nothing is known of its age, origins or place of use.
