This sack was used in the water mill in Writtle, Essex. One one side of the sack is printed 'TRUMAN 1897', and on the other side, 'HANBURY 1897'. It is a relatively large sack, measuring 49 inches by 28 inches in size. It could hold 4 bushels of grain or flour.
