    Deaccessioned. Please note that this object no longer forms part of the Museum of English Rural Life collection, and so cannot be accessed at our institution. This is a straight cut saddler's needle. It is four-sided from approximately halfway down to the point, and the eye end has apparently been worn flat. It was used by a saddler in Alton, Hampshire.
