Pre-MERL list / description - 'TRI-ANG SPOT-ON // Cotswold village series: (rubber buildings) // D. OAST HOUSE (in cabinet). // £7.50 Purchased. D. Crawley, 10/9/1994.', MERL Miscellaneous note – ‘Tri-ang Spot-on toys were produced in 1:42 scale because models were built to fit into 'Cotswold' village style playsets. These rubber toy models were part of the Cotswold Village Series. Sold from 1959/60 to 1967. According to the Brighton Toy and Model Museum the production seems to have been the first result of Lines Brothers' takeover of the rubber moulding company Young and Fogg Rubber Co. Ltd. of Wimbledon in 1958.’
