  • Description
    This is an older type of hop sampler, used by merchants to extract a sample from a hop pocket, to decide on the quality of a particular crop. It has two pairs of three prongs, which close together on pressing the wooden handle. It was previously part of the collections at the Curtis Museum, in Alton.
