    This hop hook was used on Truncheaunts Farm, in Alton. It was used for harvesting hops. The curved spike above the knife was used for unhitching string around the top of the hop poles before the introduction of wire for this purpose. The hook was also previously part of the collections at the Curtis Museum, in Alton.
