    Titan tractor cardboard advertisement sign with a tractor in the centre surrounded by the words 'IHC // 20 Horse Power // Titan // Farm Tractor // The Farmers' Tractor // Works on Paraffin.' The background is green with a red ribbon banner across the top, in the bottom two corners are images of a tractor ploughing and a ploughed field. The International Harvester Company made Titan 10-20hp tractors from 1915 to 1922. This sign was found in the museum and no information is known about its history.

    MERL Miscellaneous note - The International Harvester Company made Titan tractors. The tractors were made in a factory in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. The IHC Titan 10-20 was made between 1915 and 1922. The claimed power from the drawbar was 10 hp and the belt 20 hp. After the First World War the 10-20 became one of the company’s best-selling tractors. Titan tractors were imported to the UK during and after the First World War, to help boost food production.
