Part McGregor part Reeves.‘, Email, Donor to MERL - 17 June 2022 - 'Does it have a maker's plate, or do you know its manufacturer? Do you know what condition it is in? // There are two name on it Mcgreggor on the side and a plate with Reeves of Bratton (who you already have documents in your collection). Condition - slight rust but overall good - been stored undercover for last 50 years. // Can I also check where your grandmother's farm was? Was it in England? Was it a mixed farm or only livestock? Where are the machines stored? // It is where I live now - Yarnbrook near Trowbridge. Only livestock (pigs & Cattle- apart from during WW2 when some corn was grown). Machines stored in shed where I live now. ... All the machinery was used by my Grandmother in running a small farm from 1921 to 1969.'
