    This saw file, also called a 'three square file', is a hand woodworking tool used for smoothing wood. It is a three sided file, tapering towards the end, and is stamped 'CRUCIBLE CAST STEEL' on the handle end. It was used by the donor's father, who was a wheelwright and carpenter in Braishfield, Hampshire.
